A&A Recycling run a number of “wagon & drag” vehicles which serve a variety of customers, whether this be inbound materials or outbound finished products. These vehicles carry 50 cubic yard containers which can be placed on our suppliers sites to be filled with waste wood, then simply call A&A Recycling for collection or exchange – a similar method to standard skip operations but on a larger scale. Our business has a large portfolio of suppliers, whether this be council Household Waste Recycling Centres (HWRC’s), waste management companies, pallet companies, or general clearances.

We find this section of our services is one of the busiest. It has the benefit of providing a storage unit at any location for waste wood and also helps companies who need material removed from their premises by A&A rather than finding haulage solutions themselves. A&A has a continual investment programme in the Container Service to ensure we remain sustainable, compliant and always able to deliver a first-class service to our suppliers of wood and end users.

As well as using containers for the collection of material, we often also use them to deliver our finished products, particularly woodchips. Typically, these are loads between 5 – 10 tonnes and do not require the use of an articulated vehicles. The load is discharged by way of tipping the container upright, similar to a tipper truck.

• Container Placement – This would be a standard service for ongoing business. A&A would deliver one or two containers, then exchange these once full. For this service, containers must be filled at least once per second week.

• Load on Site – A&A can arrive on your site with one or two containers and the containers will be loaded whilst the driver waits for one hour.

• Extended Load on Site – Container(s) would be dropped on a site at an agreed point in the morning then collected later in the day. Extended periods can be agreed by prior arrangement.

• Material Supply – Should there be a need to supply small quantities of material we have this option too.
