A&A Recycling Waste Wood Audit

Helping Businesses Optimise Their Waste Wood Management

At A&A Recycling Services Ltd, we understand that effective waste management is critical for businesses aiming to improve sustainability, enhance efficiency, and reduce costs. Our Waste Wood Audit is designed to help your organisation assess, manage, and optimise its waste wood streams while ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and sustainability goals.

What is a Waste Wood Audit?

A Waste Wood Audit is a detailed assessment of how your business generates and disposes of waste wood. Our team of specialists will evaluate the type and volume of waste produced, analyse current handling methods, and identify opportunities for cost savings and environmental improvements.

Why is it Important?

  • Cost Reduction – Identifying inefficiencies can lead to significant savings on disposal and processing costs.
  • Regulatory Compliance – Ensure your business adheres to local and national waste regulations, minimising legal risks.
  • Sustainability – Effective wood waste management helps reduce your company’s carbon footprint and supports the circular economy.
  • Revenue & Rebate Opportunities – Many businesses are unaware that their waste wood has value. By segregating materials correctly and improving recycling processes, you could unlock rebates and turn waste into a revenue stream.

Our Waste Wood Audit Process

We take a structured approach to assess and improve your waste wood management:

1. Initial Consultation

We start with a detailed discussion about your business operations, the type of waste wood generated, and any existing waste management challenges.

2. On-Site Assessment

Our team visits your facilities to conduct a comprehensive evaluation of your wood waste generation points and handling procedures.

3. Data Analysis & Rebate Opportunities

We compile and assess the collected data to identify inefficiencies, patterns, and potential rebate opportunities for recyclable wood materials.

4. Comprehensive Report

You will receive a tailored report outlining our findings, including practical recommendations for optimising your waste wood management and maximising financial returns from recyclable materials.

5. Implementation Support

We provide guidance on implementing the recommended strategies, including advice on recycling, segregation, regulatory compliance, and rebate schemes.

What Types of Wood Waste Do We Assess?

A&A Recycling Services Ltd. specialises in assessing and processing different grades of wood waste, ensuring maximum recycling and recovery:

  • Grade A (Clean Wood) – Includes untreated pallets, packaging waste, and process offcuts from manufacturing.
  • Grade B (Non-Hazardous Treated Wood) – Includes construction and demolition waste, painted wood, and furniture made from solid wood.
  • Grade C (Municipal Waste Wood) – Includes mixed waste from transfer stations, furniture with board products, and DIY materials.
  • Grade D (Hazardous Waste Wood) – Includes CCA/creosote-treated wood, such as railway sleepers and telegraph poles (A&A Recycling does not accept Grade D waste).
